ABOUT OUR CHIEF CONSULTANT
Sean Aker is an education professional with over 22 years of experience, recently specializing in organizational development and mission alignment, serving in interim school-based roles, and executing contracts that support legislative reports, market research, and implementation planning.
Previously, Sean served as a Regional Program Coordinator at Willamette Education Service District, fostering collaborative partnerships and contributing to student and educator support initiatives.
He has a record of building positive work environments and developing processes for data collection and review, and systems of communication to increase transparency of progress toward outcomes. His cultural humility supports his ability to build bridges diverse communities.
Sean has experience serving on the ACCUPLACER National Advisory Committee, the Oregon Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development Executive Board, and the Oregon Career Information Systems Board of Directors. He also continues to serve his church and community as the Program Director for his local Knight's of Columbus Council.
He has delivered workshops and presentations on topics including mission alignment, equity leadership, reducing chronic absenteeism, paraprofessional hiring, and language access.
Sean has post graduate Educational Leadership training from the University of Concordia - Chicago and Portland State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Western Oregon University.
